I expect registration to close on Monday. If you want to take the course, you should register now. (Doing so a week before the course starts allows me to recruit the right number of teaching fellows.)
If you are using Windows, I have updated some of the initial instructions. (Thanks for feedback and comments!) Details are in the revised Getting Started chapter, but the highlights are:
a. Install Git for Windows. Make sure to select the option which also installs Git Bash.b. Read and follow these instructions.
