Registration Closes at Midnight Tonight
You have until midnight on Sunday June 2 to submit your Introductions homework
Registration is now closed. I plan on offering the course next summer. See you then!
Still want to take the course this summer? You have until midnight tonight (Sunday, June 2) to submit your answers for the Introduction homework. Notes:
There are 89 students who have already submitted their answers to the “Introduction” homework. If you see your email among the confirmed students, you are all set! You will get an email from me tomorrow afternoon with a Zoom link for the first course, which is at 8:00 PM EST Monday. I look forward to meeting you all. (I will also re-send a link to our Discord server for all those who haven’t gotten one yet.) Perhaps this is obvious, but you should only attempt the “Introductions” tutorial after you have followed all the instructions in the Getting Started chapter, including submitting your answers for the “Getting Started with Tutorials” tutorial.
If you submitted your `introduction_answers.html` file via the Google form and don’t see your email address in the accepted student list, then you made a mistake. Feel free to ask a question as a comment to this post or to try again. The most common mistake was to fail to answer one (or more) of the questions about your name, your email or the amount of time the tutorial required, in minutes.
Why do I make it so difficult to even come to the first class? Because life is short! Years of experience have taught me that students who can’t be bothered to even spend an hour in preparation for the first class will almost always drop out after a week or two, all the while slowing things down for everyone else.
I had an issue with my original submission - and I've been trying to load everything in on my new laptop, but when I try to do the "sprt?" part on the introduction tutorial, it takes me to a webpage saying "It looks like the webpage at http://127.0.0.1:11197/library/base/html/MathFun.html might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.", what issue is happening here?
I am not sure why it came through like that. My email is shyneh8118@gmail.com. Also there might be more than 1 Aanya so making sure you have correct Aanya here. :) Really appreciate you double checking.
